A <br />dally maintenance schedule will be submitted in writing to the City every morning, <br />The supervisor of this contract shall be available to meet with the City's <br />representative daily during working hours, as necessary. <br />(2) Any specific problem area which does not meet the conditions of the <br />specifications set forth herein shall be called to the attention of the Contractor <br />and if not corrected, payment to the Contractor will not be made until condition is <br />corrected In a satisfactory manner as set forth in the specifications. <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />(1) All work shall conform to the pruning standards as noted in the American <br />National Standard Institute, ANSI A300 (Part 1) — 2008 Pruning Standard and <br />the companion publication Best Management Practices, Tree Pruning (Revised <br />2008), In all cases the City's representative shall have complete and sole <br />discretion in determining conformance and acceptability of trees trimmed by the <br />Contractor. Trimmed trees rejected by the City's representative shall be <br />excluded from payment. <br />(2) Contractor shall comply with Standards of the Division of Occupational Safety <br />and Health (CAL ,OSHA -and the American National Standard Institute - (ANSI)._ <br />(3) These specifications are intended to cover all labor, material and standards of <br />architectural, landscaping, and mechanical workmanship to be employed in the <br />work called for in these specifications or reasonably implied by terms of same. <br />Work or materials of a minor nature which may riot be specifically mentioned, but <br />which may be reasonably assumed as necessary for the completion of this work, <br />shall be performed by the Contractor as if described in the specifications. <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br />All correspondence shall be addressed to: <br />Danell Mercado — Projects Manager <br />Public Works Agency= Maintenance Division <br />220 South Daisy Avenue — Building A <br />Santa Ana, CA 92703 <br />dmercadoCa7santa -ana <br />A. PROVISIONS FOR EXTRAS <br />(1) No new work of any kind shall be considered an extra unless a separate estimate <br />is given for said work and the estimate is approved In writing by the City before <br />the work is commenced. The Contractor will be required to provide before and <br />after photographs of safety items or emergency repairs which were made without <br />prior City approval. Documentation of contract compliance may be required on <br />some occasions. <br />(2) Should a change or extra work be found necessary by the City, all changes and <br />extra work shall be performed at the same unit price of any proposal item listed, <br />If the work is not listed as a proposal item, the Contractor shall submit a fair cost <br />25B -17 <br />
