AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br />BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION <br />PUBLIC EOLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM <br />AND THE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />The Board of Administration, Public Employees' Retirement System, hereinafter <br />referred to as Board and the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF SANTA ANA, hereinafter <br />referred to as Public Agency having entered into a contract under date of November <br />25, 1945, effective July 1, 1947, and as amended effective October 1, 1951, <br />February 11 1954, September 1, 1956, July 19 1959, November 1, 1960, September 1, <br />1963, April 1, 1964, February 1, 1965, January 169 1969, November 1, 1970, <br />June 1, 1974, and December 16, 1976, which provide for participation of Public <br />Agency in said System, Board and Public Agency hereby agree as follows: <br />A. The following subparagraph shall be added to Paragraph 5 of said contract: <br />5.(e) Section 20983.6 (providing that miscellaneous members may continue <br />in employment irrespective of age as members of said System upon <br />certification of the member's competence by Public Agency). <br />B.
