9. Public. Agency* in accordance with $ectjon 20740, Government Code, <br />eerasod to be an "employer" for purposes of Section 20759 of the Public <br />Employees' Retirement I.ow effective on December 16, 1976. Accumulated <br />contributions of Public, Agency as of the aforementioned date shall be <br />fixed ,+arid d+etermincd as provided in Section 20759, Government Code, <br />and accumulated contributions as of the aforementioned time and <br />contributions thereafter made shall be hold by :.he Board as provided <br />In Section 20759, Government Grade. <br />10. Public Agency shall contribute to said Retirement System as follows: <br />a. With respect to local miscellaneous members, the agency shall <br />contribute the following percentages cif monthly salaries warned <br />as local miscellaneous members of said Retirement System: <br />(1) 0.200 percent until Juno 30, 2000 on account of the <br />liability for prior ,services benefits. (Subject to annual <br />(2) 14,386 Percent until June 30, 1000 on account of the <br />liability for current service benefits. (Subject to annukal <br />change.) <br />b. With respect to local safety members. the agency shall contribute <br />the following percentages of monthly salaries earned as local <br />safety members of said Retirement System: <br />(1) 29.290 percent until June 30, 2000 on account of the <br />liability for current service benefits. (Subject to annau;al. <br />change, ) <br />0. A reasonable amount, as fixed by the Board, payable 1n one in- <br />stallment within 60 days of date of contract to cover the coasts <br />of administering said System as it effects the employees of <br />Public Agency, not Including the costs of special valuations or <br />of the periodic investigation and valuations required by law. <br />d. A reasonable amount:, as fixed by the Board, payable in one in- <br />stallment.: as eche occasions Mae, to cover the costs of special <br />valuations on account of employees of Public Agency, and costs of <br />the periodic invetstigotivn and valuations required by law. <br />11, Contributions required of Public: Agency and On employees shall be <br />subject to aadjustmerst, by 7oord on account of amendments to the Public <br />Employees' Retirement Law, and on account of the experience under t'he>. <br />Retirement System as determined by the periodic Investigation and <br />valuation required by said Retirement Law. <br />
