These remnant parcels must be identified and disposed of in order to reduce the City's liability. Somet€mes these remnant parcels have value only to the adjacent property owner. CivilSource will prepare a list to Identify these parcels and prepare a plan to dispose of these parcels as economically as possible. if it is determined that they have any values, they will be appraised and offered to adjacent owners, CivilSource will attend neighborhood & City Council meetings when required by the Glty's r'rotect Manager. CivilSource will prepare the RFP for marketing these lots to potential developers qualified to purchase the lots at maximum price, and develop the surplus lots with quality projects. Sale of these lots will not only generate revenue for the City's street widening and CIP, but will provide quality development in place of vacant lots which in turn will generate tax revenues for the City, In addition to the RFP, Civ €€Source will explore other avenues to sell the surplus properties, Some vacant lots might be offered to adjacent property owners to Include in their property for potential expansion of their property.
