REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: <br />AUGUST 4, 2016 <br />TITLE; <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENTS <br />REQUIRED BY ADMINISTERING AGENCY - <br />STATE MASTER AGREEMENT NO, 002895 <br />(NON-GENERAL FUND) <br />(STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1G) <br />CITY MANAGER <br />a r r • <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />0 As Recommended <br />Q As Amended <br />0 Ordinance on 1B' Reading <br />El Ordinance on 2ntl Reading <br />El implementing Resolution <br />F1 set Public Hearing For <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Adopt a resolution authorizing the Executive Director of the Public Works Agency to execute the <br />program supplement agreements required by Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. <br />002895 with the State of California Department of Transportation to reimburse the City for State- <br />funded projects, <br />�U <br />The City has an existing Ccuncii- approved Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. <br />002895 with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) that was revised on January <br />19, 2010 (Master Agreement). This Master Agreement allows the City to receive reimbursement <br />on a number of State - funded projects. However; a resolution is required to authorize the <br />Executive Director of Public Works Agency to execute all program supplements which fall under <br />this Master Agreement. Program supplements define the scope of work and reimbursement <br />limits for each State- funded project and must be separately executed in order to receive the <br />funds. Council action will still be required to approve the City's Capital Improvement Program <br />projects and any subsequent Master Agreement revisions. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental Impact associated with this action. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN LI� GNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet goal #6 Community Facilities <br />Infrastructure, Objective f#1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br />55D -1 <br />
