Therefore, this year we will <br />focus more on enrolling the "youth on probation" and expand our network and community <br />partnerships to ensure the minimum of 10% for this target population. We will continue to <br />strengthen our community partnerships with the Santa Ana Unified School District, Community <br />Day High School, as well as expand with others, such as, the Santa Ana Police Department, etc. <br />E. Specify how the targeted youth populations (out-of-school, youth with disabilities, <br />foster/emancipated, probation, dropouts) will be recruited - OCCTAC has excellent community <br />partners that will help us fulfill our enrollment goals through referrals, and also help us provide <br />an excellent program for all our youth. <br />Target group - Youth with Disabilities: OCCTAC has had a strong partnership with the Santa <br />Ana Unified School District, Special Education, and Transition Partnership Program (TPP) <br />during the past 9 years, in order to serve youth with disabilities exiting high school. This year <br />we will expand this partnership by also serving the In -school youth population with <br />disabilities. In partnership with the SAUSD TPP program staff, we will ensure that our <br />enrollment goals will be met by the first quarter. The Case manager will work closely with <br />the SAUSD, TPP staff for referrals of youth with disabilities, and to make sure that our <br />participants will be successfully attain all their goals! <br />2. Target group — Foster Youth/ Emancipated: OCCTAC has partnered with the County of <br />Orange, Social Services, Children and Families Services Division and New Alternatives to <br />continue to serve more emancipated foster youth. OCCTAC has been a partner with the <br />County since 2007. We are looking forward to continue to grow and strengthen our <br />partnership with the County, Social Services to continue to provide and expand work <br />experience placements, vocational training, academic /employment services and mentoring <br />to foster youth in Orange County. <br />3. Target group— Probation Youth: In partnership with the City of Santa Ana and the Santa Ana <br />Unified School District, OCCTAC has started a partnership this year at Community Day High <br />School to assist youth on probation and on the verge of dropping out.
