Ongoing improvements planned for signage <br />and wayfinding. <br />S'S i <br />14 <br />How is this Funded? <br />Off- Street Parking Rates (parking structures) <br />• Adjust parking structure rates to $1.50 per hour upon completion of <br />modernization improvements. (estimated July 1, 2016) <br />On- Street Parking Rates (parking meters) <br />Adjust parking meter rates in the following manner: <br />• Midtown Zone to $1.00 per hour (effective October 1, 2015) <br />• Downtown Zone to $1.50 per hour (effective October 1, 2015) <br />• Willard Zone remains at $1.00 per hour <br />Parking Enforcement <br />• Reduce expired meter citation to $40.00 (currently $56.00) <br />• Adjust parking enforcement hours in Downtown Zone from Sam to 10pm <br />• Modification of parking regulations along portions of Fourth St. to allow <br />parking from 8am to 4am <br />15 <br />In Summary... <br />The proposed plan identifies key areas of improvements and <br />enhancements related to parking operations: <br />• Enhance public amenities in Downtown <br />• Modernize and upgrade parking structures <br />• Address deferred maintenance <br />• Provide funding for on -going maintenance <br />Amendments to governing ordinance and resolution. <br />• Success achieved through consensus between stakeholders, <br />business organizations, and City staff. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />1 0A -11 <br />i6 <br />AUGUST 4, 2015 <br />
