CASA BASIC SALARY & WAGE SCHEDULE EXHIBIT A <br />The City's Basic Salary and Wage Schedule provides for salary rate ranges appearing as Exhibit B, <br />each comprised of six pay steps, for full -time employees in CASA classifications. The salary steps are <br />identified by letters AA, A to E inclusive. For CASA employees covered by this MOU, the purpose of <br />each step and the length of service required for advancement within the rate range are <br />summarized as follows: <br />Purpose: <br />AA Step <br />- Normal beginning pay rate. <br />A Step <br />- Automatic Increase. <br />Also, optional hiring rate. <br />B Step <br />- Automatic Increase. <br />Also, optional hiring rate. <br />C Step <br />- Automatic Increase. <br />Also, optional hiring rate. <br />D Step <br />- Automatic Increase. <br />Also, optional hiring rate. <br />E Step <br />- Merit Rate Increase. <br />Also, optional hiring rate. <br />Required Length of Service: <br />AA <br />to A - <br />After six months' completed service. <br />A <br />to B - <br />After one year's completed service. <br />B <br />to C - <br />After one year's completed service. <br />C <br />to D - <br />After one year's completed service. <br />D <br />to E - <br />After one year's completed service. <br />CONFIDENTIAL ASSOCIATION OF SANTA ANA (CASA) MOIL: 2015 - 2017 Page 82 <br />
