iv. Rent or Space Costs: Subgrantee is responsible for ensuring <br />that all costs included in this Grant to establish billing are <br />allowable in accordance with the requirements of the Federal <br />award(s) to which they apply, including 2 CFR Part 200, <br />Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and <br />Audit Requirements for Federal Awards; 2 CFR Part 225„ <br />Cost Principles for State, Local and Indian Tribal <br />Governments (OMB Circular A -87); 2 CFR Part 230, Cost <br />Principles for Non - Profit Organizations (OMB Circular A- <br />122). Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Subgrantee <br />to ensure rent is a legitimate direct cost line item; <br />V. Trafficking In Persons: This award is subject to the <br />requirements of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of <br />2000, as amended (22 U.S.C. Part 7104(g)). For the full text <br />of the award terms and conditions, see, <br />http: / /www.cdc.gov /od /pgo /funding /grants /Award Term and <br />Condition for Trafficking in Persons.shtm; and <br />vi. Cancel Year: 31 U.S.C. Part 1552(x) Procedure for <br />Appropriation Accounts Available for Definite Periods <br />states the following: On September 30th of the 5th <br />fiscal year after the period of availability for obligation <br />of a fixed appropriation account ends, the account <br />shall be closed and any remaining balances (whether <br />obligated or unobligated) in the account shall be <br />canceled and thereafter shall not be available for <br />obligation or expenditure for any purpose. An example <br />is provided below: <br />7. Audit Requirements <br />a. Audit requirements for Subgrantee: The Subgrantor will ensure that <br />the Subgrantee receiving CDC funds meet the requirements <br />detailed in the NOA. The Subgrantor will also ensure to take <br />appropriate corrective action within six (6) months after receipt of <br />the Subgrantee audit report in instances of non - compliance with <br />applicable Federal law and regulations (2 CFR 200 Subpart F and <br />HHS Grants Policy Statement). If a Subgrantee is not required to <br />have a program- specific audit, the Subgrantor will still perform <br />adequate monitoring of Subgrantee's activities.
