EMPLOYEE GROUP INSURANCE RENEWALS {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 7, 6} - <br />Personnel Services Agency <br /> <br /> Continued from the September 1, 2015 City Council meeting by a vote 7 - 0. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.AGMTS - Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute <br />agreements for the renewal of long term disability, dental, vision, employee <br />assistance, employee group life and accidental death and dismemberment <br />insurance from January 1, 2016 to expire on December 31, 2016, subject to non- <br />substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Authorize the City Manager to approve the rates as offered by CalPERS for 2016 <br />Health Premiums for medical insurance. <br /> <br />3. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to recognize the ongoing <br />agreement with REACH Employee Assistance, Inc. executed in January 1, 2015 <br />expiring on December 31, 2017, subject to non-substantive changes approved by <br />the City Manager and City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />25B. AGMT. - INCREASE CONTINGENCY FOR LED STREETLIGHT <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT 15-6002 {STRATEGIC PLAN NOS. 6, 1B, 1C, 1G} - <br />Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Amend the agreement with California Professional <br />Engineering to increase the contingency for construction of the LED Streetlight <br />Improvements by $30,000, which increases the total contingency amount to $50,000 <br />and the total agreement amount to $528,020. <br /> <br /> <br />25C. AGMT. - SALE OF LAND AT 510 E. SECOND STREET; APN 398-491-40 <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 3, 3} - Community Development Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the <br />Council to execute an agreement between the City of Santa Ana and Rupert <br />Akoubian, for the sale of real property located at 510 East Second Street for $40,000, <br />subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />25D. AGMT. - POLICE DIGITAL IMAGING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (DIMS) <br />STORAGE ENHANCEMENTS {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 1, 3A} - Police Department <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the <br />Council to execute an amendment to our existing three-year agreement with Linear <br />Systems, in an amount not to exceed $36,400, for a total amended agreement not to <br />exceed $126,400, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager <br />and City Attorney. <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 7 SEPTEMBER 15, 2015 <br /> <br /> <br />
