W 9 - 2015 <br />OF C�WJL <br />PT�csc I) <br />AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE SECURITY SERVICES <br />FOR FIESTAS PATRIAS EVENT 2015 <br />N-2015-144 <br />4 l 1� This agreement is made and entered into this 20T11 day of August, 2015 by and between <br />Insure Protective Security ("Contractor") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal <br />t� corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California <br />("City"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The City desires to retain a contractor having special skill and knowledge in the field of <br />security services for the Fiestas Patrias event that the City is conducting on September <br />12-13, 2015 ("Event"). <br />B, Contractor represents that it is able and willing to provide such services to the City. <br />C. in undertaking the performance of this Agreement, Contractor represents that it is <br />knowledgeable in its field and that any services performed by Contractor under this <br />Agreement will be performed in compliance with such standards as may reasonably be <br />expected from a professional consulting firm in the field. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Contractor shall provide security guard services for the Event to be held in Downtown <br />Santa. Ana from Friday, September 11t1 to Sunday, September 13th with the number of security <br />guards and timeframes for set vice as set forth in the scope of services attached and incorporated <br />as Exhibit A. <br />2. DELIVERY OF WORK PRODUCT <br />Contractor shall deliver to City all work product which results from the services <br />provided. Said work product shall be submitted in a hard copy and produced in a form. <br />compatible with City's computer system, as agreed between the City's Project Manager and <br />Contractor. <br />3. COMPENSATION <br />a. City agrees to pay, and Contractor agrees to accept as total payment for its services, <br />the rates and charges identified in Exhibit B. The total sum to be expended under this <br />Agreement shall not exceed Nineteen Thousand and Ninety -Five Dollars and Seventy -Five Cents <br />($19,095.75). This includes (1) the fee of $16,605.00 plus (2) the amount up to $2,490.75 for <br />contingency services at the sole discretion of the City. <br />Page 1 of 7 <br />
