From: Janet Stapleton
Sent: Thursday, July 30, 2015 2:33:16 PM (UTC -08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)
To: !City Council
Subject: Gay Flag
Members of the City Council,.
With all due respect to each and everyone of you, the issue of putting the gay rainbow flag over:
the city hall along with our nations flag and state flag is not an issue that is of major importance
to the citizens of Santa Ana. I understand that one of the councilman's son is gay but what does
that have to do with running our city. I am sure that numerous people could come up with flags
that they felt should be flown as well. The councilman admitted it was personal. So because he is
a city councilman he should be able to do this? If residents want the flag flown they have the
right to hang one in their front yard along with any other flag they wish to hang.
]Please say no.
Thank You
Janet Stapleton
