would break the strongest cords of our Constitution, as a whadlbe goes through a net. Our
Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the
government of any other. Oaths in this country are as yet universally considered as sacred
obligations. That which you have taken, and so solemnly repeated on that venerable ground, is
an ample pledge of your sincerity and devotion to your country and its government." Letter to
the Officers of the First Brigade of the Third Division of the Milliitia of Massachusetts, 11 October
1798, in Revolutionary Services and Civil Life of General William Hull (New York, 1848), pp 265-
6. https://en.wikiguote.orgLwiki%j_ohn Adams
Let U.S. not mock God further iin America by paying mere lip service to our national motto, "In
God We Trust" while coincidentally & hypocritically deceiving ouirselves with the narcissistic &.
nauseating notion that if Santa Ana's oath takers take it upon themselves to approve of
endorsing the purloining & corrupting of the RAINBOW, God's symbol to all of us that He
promised to never again flood the earth, for publicly & officially endorsing homosexuality,
which God both condemns as an abomination in the Old Testament & as lawlessness in the
New Testament, by flying this stolen, perverted "rainbow flag" of the LGBTQcult, how it could
be construed as anything but adding insult to injury by flipping God off with this puffed -up -
with -pride purloined rainbow to be adopted as part of the offiic!ial CA & U.S. colors on official
government properties. The height of hubris & the depth of depravity. That's what this affront
to all of U.S, is & I take the utmost umbrage with Councilman Tiinajero's proposal & strenuously
object that it is not only patently offensive to me, but to American Veterans who, like my
deceased father, know all too well the price that they paid Us now being paid in BLOOD, that
only bleeds RED mind you, so that pathetic proposals like this could even come up for
consideration in CA & the U.S.
Furthermore, it would violate the 1st Amendment establishment clause as is already being
done in Cochran, GA (see link below). Two wrongs, however, don't make it right. As much as I
am a Christian, I do not want CA or my CA City Hall dictating to me what orthodoxy or religion.
must look like, whether it is the Christian Flag (see U.S. origin iinfo. & link below) or the LGBTQ
cult's purloined & perverted "rainbow flag" that Santa Ana Councilman Tinajero touts as worthy
of this honor.
''"The Christian flag is one of the oldest unchanged flags in the world. It was conceived at
Brighton Chapel, Coney Island, New York, Sunday, September 26, 1897, and was
presented in its present form the following Sunday by its originator. Call it chance, or
providence, serendipity, or the plan of God, on that day, the Christian flag was born.
The white on the flag represents purity and peace. The blue stands for faithfulness,
truth, and sincerity. Red, of course, is the color of sacrifice, in this case calling to mind
the blood shed by Christ on Calvary, represented by the cross. The first pledge to the
Christian flag was written by Methodist pastor Lynn Harold Hough in 1908.
"I pledge allegiance to the Christian Flag and to the Savior for whose kingdom it stands.
One brotherhood, uniting all mankind, in service and love."
