INSURANCE ON FILL <br />WORK MAY PROCEED <br />UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />CLi:�K Or COUNCit. <br />MO DATE: tflle /"5� <br />A-2015-186 <br />AGREEMENT WITH CALIFORNIA BARRICADE REN'T'ALS, INC, FOR PROVISION, <br />INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL OF TRAFFIC BARRICADES FOR FIESTAS <br />PATRIAS EVENT AND OTHER CITY EVENTS <br />w <br />cC THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 1" day of September, 2015 by and <br />3 between California Barricade Rentals, hic, ("Contractor"), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the <br />State of California ("City"). <br />i RECITALS <br />a <br />�+ A. The City desires to retain a contractor having special skill and knowledge in the field of <br />providing, installing, maintaining, and removing traffic barricade equipment for special <br />V events such as the Fiestas Patrias Event that the City is hosting from September 12-13, <br />2015 ("Event"). <br />B, Contractor represents that Contractor is able and willing to provide such services to the <br />City. <br />C. In undertaking the performance of this Agreement, Contractor represents that it is <br />knowledgeable in this field and that any services performed by Contractor under this <br />Agreement will be performed in compliance with such standards as may reasonably be <br />expected from a professional consulting firm in the field. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terns and conditions hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Contractor shall provide, install,, set-up, maintain and remove traffic barricade equipment <br />at the 400 block of 4"' Street in Downtown Santa Ana for the Event, using equipment more fully <br />described in Exhibit A to this Agreement (the "Equipment"). Contractor shall deliver the <br />Equipment on Friday, September 11, 201.5 and start setting up immediately after the closure of <br />the streets at 7:00 p.m. Contractor will clean up and remove the Equipment on Sunday evening, <br />September 13 and have it completely removed and cleaned up by 6:00 a.m. Monday, September <br />14, 2015, with the exception of the carnival area, which shall be cleaved by 5:00 p.m, on <br />Monday, September 1.4, 2015. <br />Contractor shall also provide, install, set-up, maintain and remove traffic barricade <br />equipment from Exhibit A for other City produced Events to be scheduled at a later date through <br />June 30, 2016, including but not limited to: the Plaza Wellness 5K run, SOMOS and Cineo De <br />Mayo Event. <br />Page 1 of 7 <br />
