The City will decide the manner in which the coordination efforts with be conducted. At the City's <br />option, coordination efforts may be performed by the proposer's direct contact, by the proposer <br />acting through the City, or by the City only. When coordination efforts require agreements, such <br />agreements shall be coordinated through the City. <br />IX. PROPOSER RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The selected proposer will assume responsibilities for all services in its proposal. The selected <br />proposer shall identify a sole point of contact with the greatest knowledge in regard to the <br />required service operations and contractual matters, including payment of any and all charges <br />resulting from the Agreement. <br />X. LICENSE REQUIREMENTS <br />In accordance with Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, the City has determined <br />that the proposer shall possess a license in the classification specified in the Notice Inviting <br />Proposals. <br />XI. PREVAILING WAGE <br />Contractor is aware of the requirements of California Labor Code Section 1720, at seq., and <br />1770, et seq., as well as California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 16000, et seq., <br />( "Prevailing Wage Laws'), which require the payment of prevailing wage rates and the <br />performance of other requirements on "public works" and "maintenance' projects. Since the <br />Services are being performed as part of an applicable "public works" or "maintenance" project, as <br />defined by the Prevailing Wage Laws and the total compensation is $1,000 or more, Contractor <br />agrees to fully comply with such Prevailing Wage Laws. City shall provide Contractor with a copy <br />of the prevailing rates per diem wages in effect at the commencement of this Agreement. <br />Contractor shall make copies of the prevailing rates of per diem wage for each craft, <br />classification, or type of worker needed to execute the Services available to interested parties <br />upon request, and shall post copies at the Contractor's principal place of business and at the <br />project site. Contractor shall defend, indemnify, and hold the City, its elected officials, officers, <br />employees, and agents free and harmless from any claim or liability arising out of any failure or <br />alleged failure to comply with the Prevailing Wage Laws. The current prevailing wage rates as <br />adopted by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations are incorporated herein by <br />reference and may be accessed at http: / /www.dir.ca.gov /. <br />XII. PROPOSER MIINIMUN QUALIFICATIONS <br />A. Proposer shall be in the business of providing Graffiti Removal Services on road related <br />facilities and private properties for a large municipality or a government agency for at <br />least three (3) years; <br />B. Propose shall not have failed to complete a municipal contract within the last 3 years; <br />C. Proposer shall possess all permits, licenses, and credentials required to perform graffiti <br />removal services; and <br />D. Shall have the ability to furnish the necessary personnel, equipment, cleaning materials, <br />and supplies necessary to remove or cover graffiti. <br />City of Santa Ana GRSC Services RFP 6 28 Page 5 <br />
