PROCLAMATION presented by COUNCILMEMBER AMEZCUA to the Orange County <br />Fire Authority for declaring October 4 -10 as Fire Prevention Week. <br />OATH OF OFFICE - Administered by Clerk of the Council to Mike Tardif, Historic <br />Resources Commission Member <br />CLOSED SESSION REPORT — City Attorney Carvalho reported that Employee <br />Evaluations were continued; staff direction was given on Labor Negotiations, and <br />release of document was authorized pursuant to Public Records Act on Anticipated <br />Litigation matter. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS <br />MOTION: Approve staff recommendations on Consent Calendar items 10A <br />through 31D, with the following modifications: <br />• Mayor Pro Tem Sarmiento abstained on Agenda Item 19E out of an <br />abundance of caution and due to real property in the area; <br />• Councilmember Tinajero abstained on Agenda Item 31 A; <br />• Mayor Pulido pulled Agenda Item 25C to allow speaker to address the City <br />Council; <br />• Councilmember Martinez dissented on Agenda Items 31A through 31 D; and <br />• Councilmember Benavides dissented on Agenda Item 31 C. <br />MOTION: Sarmiento SECOND: Amezcua <br />VOTE: AYES: Amezcua, Benavides, Pulido, Martinez, Reyna, <br />Sarmiento, Tinajero (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSTAIN: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />Items removed for separate action or modified are highlighted.
