Clty of So Me Ana,
My name Is Richard Chia rink My family and I are the owners of Chia rinI Marble and Stone, a long time
Santa Ana business located on Washington Street between Santlago and Lincoln, We have been at this
address for over thirty years. We have watched Santa Ana grow for years. My family and family
members live and vote, In Santa Ana. My children attended Santa Ana schools, as do their children,
My family has had a long -term commitment to Santa Ana and has enthusiastically supported its urban
renewal efforts, particularly those associated with the arts. My family supported ARTISTS VILLAGE
efforts when our company donated the large, courtyard Fountain on the Second Street Promenade, it
bears ourfamlly's name.
The Orange County Center for Contemporary Art (OCCCA) has been a pioneering and Important long
term contributor to Santa Ana's urban return to opportunity and downtown prosperity. It has provided
high quality art exhibitions my family and I have experienced and appreciated often.
This said, my family and I enthusiastically encourage you to support OCCCA'S 2015 "Investing in the
Artist" grant funding application.
Slncerelyy -
v
Richard Chlarini
