Amec Foster Wheeler continues to <br />support these programs through inventory development, on-going training, <br />assistance with cases as needed, and PEA support. Amec Foster Wheeler <br />continues to support the City's other NPDES programs including the WQMP <br />inspection programs, administering the SWRCB Proposition 84 Grant <br />requirements for the City, assisting with municipal inspections, and assistance <br />with their PEA. Our project team works with the various departments for <br />reporting purposes associated with the City's PEA. <br />Amec Foster Wheeler has also managed bacteria source investigations for the <br />City in response to elevated bacteria sample results observed in the Santa Ana <br />River and Anaheim Bay — Huntington Harbor Watersheds. These investigations <br />were initiated by the County of Orange Countywide Dry Weather Monitoring <br />Program that involved sampling for various constituents within at major storm <br />Requested Information <br />Year Completed: <br />Ongoing <br />Client: City of Costa Mesa <br />Contact; Nadir Naderi <br />(714) 754-5222 <br />drams/channels within each watershed. A variety of techniques were used to <br />identify sources of bacteria including mapping the storm and sewer drains, dye testing, flow monitoring, sampling, and <br />confined space entry to identify potential cross -connections. Amec Foster Wheeler also used the City's GIS system to <br />identify land -uses within the watershed to focus the detailed source investigation efforts. <br />City of Costa Mesa — Dry Weather Source Investigation and NPDES <br />Compliance Inspections <br />Amec Foster Wheeler has assisted the City of Costa with implementation of their <br />industrial/commercial NPDES inspection program for the past six years. Amec <br />Foster Wheeler has performed nearly 1,000 inspections of industrial and <br />commercial facilities and assisted the City develop and maintain a database to <br />track inspection results. In addition, Amec Foster Wheeler has assisted the City <br />perform NPDES inspections of municipally operated facilities (corporate yards, <br />police stations, etc.). Inspections were performed have used tablet computers in <br />the field with inspectors uploading data weekly. <br />In addition to industrial/commercial inspection services, Amec Foster Wheeler <br />performed a detailed dry weather flow study for the City. Storm drain outlets in <br />the major flood control channels were visually observed to document the <br />presence of flow and the associated flow characteristics. Field staff initiated <br />upstream flow investigations when visual observation and field test results indicated potentially elevated pollutant <br />levels. <br />Storm Water Consulting Services, Orange County, California <br />Requested Information <br />Amec Foster Wheeler has provided storm water consulting services to John Year Completed: 1996- !, <br />`'Uayne Airport for more than 12 years. The services performed by Amec Foster 2008; 2014 to present <br />Wheeler included developing storm water compliance documents, establishing <br />and/or documenting appropriate storm water BMPs, storm water sampling, Client: John Wayne <br />analysis, auditing compliance programs of airport tenants, data interpretation, Airport <br />reporting, and training. In addition, Amec Foster Wheeler assists with (949) 252-5270 <br />reviewing WQ1VIPs and inspections of structural treament controls (both <br />verification and operation and maintenance). Storm water sampling for this Project Team: Brent <br />project involved installing, configuring, and maintaining several automated storm Smith, Mike Lowther <br />water sampling systems. Amec Foster Wheeler prepared a comprehensive <br />SWPPP and monitoring program plan that covers the entire airport, including activities of multiple carriers, tenants, <br />and outside contractors. This SWPPP is currently being updated for the new industrial permit.
