Santa Ana Community Artist(a) Coalition <br />CORE TEAM <br />ALICIA ROJAS — Project Director <br />Alicia is a self taught artist from Bogota, Colombia, She was featured in <br />ABILITY Magazine for her emotive self portraits. She was also included <br />in OCWeekly's 2013 People Issue for her local arts advocacy and <br />leadership in Santa Ana, CA. Her works have also been featured locally <br />and she has been invited to participate in arts festivals around Orange <br />County, including The Pacific Symphony, OC Can you Play and the <br />Bowers Museum. <br />"I am shaped by my experiences and relationships with others but I am <br />an artist because of nay own immigrant experience" <br />MOISES CAMACHO -Art Director <br />Mexican born artist Moises Camacho studied Fine Art at the National <br />School of Art in "La Esmeralda" Mex. His works have been exhibited in <br />Princeton University, A &B Gallery in NYC, Expo Triennial in Saporo <br />Japan. Founder of MCGallery located. in Santa Ana, CA. <br />A Master Muralist who has completed private murals and public mural <br />work for The "Cesar Chavez" Foundation and The University of <br />Philosophical Research. <br />"Painting is an spiritual activity. A piece of art is the result of and <br />internal process by which you expose your own hell or your own heaven " <br />ROGER EYES -Lead Artist <br />Roger is a local celebrated artist. He has lived in Santa Aria since the age <br />of 5. His works have been exhibited at OCCCA, GCS Gallery, The Frida <br />Cinema, Art Walls, among many other local venues. He has created public <br />art murals at the Blue Lot, A. wood panel mural next to Calacas Cafe and <br />he was selected as one of the 7 artists for the City of Santa Ana's Utility <br />Box Art Project. <br />"When the artist's ability to feel is his greatest strength, the art he creates <br />truly becomes real. My art is nay passion and for you to enjoy always_" <br />RICKY LOZANO - Lead Artist <br />A local and emerging artist and resident of Santa Ana. Ricky works <br />primarily in acrylics. Through a visionary creative process, he merges <br />subjects of the human condition into raw representations often using <br />surrealist dreamscapes and cosmic imagery, His work has been exhibited <br />in Los Angeles and in MCGallery. <br />"Life is an accumulation of creation; the universe is in a constant process <br />of creating, as products of the tuaiverse, we oan ^selves are programed to <br />create as well.
