Quarterly Report For Housing <br />Choice Voucher Program <br />November 3, 2015 <br />Page 4 <br />Production: <br />HQS Inspections: <br />Each year, the Housing Authority must inspect <br />every assisted -unit to ensure it meets the <br />Housing Quality Standards (HQS) in compliance <br />with the federal regulations. From July to <br />September a total of 834 inspections and re - <br />inspections of our assisted -units were <br />performed. Chart 7 illustrates the number of <br />inspections performed monthly since July 2015. <br />Recertifications / Interims: <br />Each year, the Housing <br />Authority must re -certify <br />each assisted -family to <br />ensure compliance with <br />program eligibility. In <br />addition, when a <br />participant's income <br />changes an interim <br />examination must be <br />performed. During the <br />reporting period, a total of <br />857 recertifications/interims <br />were conducted. Twenty change of <br />unit actions were processed during the reporting period. <br />New Admissions: <br />This action is completed when a family is admitted to the HCV Program.
