TSIA Board Meeting <br />December 11, 1997 <br />Page 4 <br />Tom Lutz moved; Tom Saltarelli seconded; motion passed unanimously. <br />4. Allocation of TSIA funds for Right -of -Way Acquisition for Red Hill Avenue <br />Widening Project at 1 -5 (Dana Kasdan). <br />Recommendation: <br />a) Transfer the remaining previously allocated TSIA Funds (approximately <br />$36,000) from the Preliminary Design phase to the land acquisition phase; and <br />b) Provide an additional TSIA allocation in the amount of $124,000.00 in FY <br />1998/99 for the completion of the land acquisition phase. <br />Dana Kasdan reported that the staff is requesting approximately $36,000 from <br />Preliminary design phase be transferred to right -of -way acquisition and that an <br />additional TSIA Fund allocation of $124,000 in FY 98/99 be allocated for right - <br />of -way acquisition. <br />Tom Lutz moved; Tom Saltarelli seconded; motion passed unanimously <br />5. SR -55 N/B Ramps at Edinger Avenue (Dana Kasdan) <br />Recommendation: Receive and file. <br />Dana Kasdan reported on the status of the N/B SR -55 ramps. The project is <br />now fully funded and Caltrans should approve the project report shortly. These <br />ramps will be part of the Newport Avenue extension. <br />Tom Lutz moved; Jeffery Thomas seconded; motion passed unanimously. <br />VI. Transportation System Improvement Fee <br />1. Annual TSIA fee increase for Areas A and B; and policy interpretation for <br />net floor area replacement (Rita Westfield). <br />Recommendation: <br />a) That the Santa Ana/Tustin TSIA Board defer an annual increase to TSIP fees <br />for Areas A and B for 1998 pending conclusion of the TSIP Fee Study. <br />
