8. Notices <br />Notices hereunder shall be sufficient if personally <br />delivered or sent by U.S. Mail, postage prepaid, addressed to <br />the City Manager of the receiving party at the street address <br />of City Hall of the receiving party. <br />9. Supercession of Prior Aareemen <br />This Agreement supersedes that certain "Transportation <br />Systems Improvements Agreement" entered into between the parties <br />hereto in 1981. <br />10. Severability <br />If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase <br />of this Agreement, or the application hereof to the Authority or <br />to either party hereto or to any other person or circumstance, <br />is for any reason held invalid by a court of law, it shall be <br />deemed severable and the validity of the remainder of this <br />-14- <br />
