RESOLUTION NO. 2015-065 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA FOR THE EXTENSION OF <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2013-19 FOR A TYPE 41 ALCOHOL <br />BEVERAGE CONTROL LICENSE FOR ONE YEAR FOR THE <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 414 WEST FOURTH STREET <br />MOTION: Tinajero SECOND: Benavides <br />VOTE: AYES: Amezcua, Benavides, Pulido, Reyna, Tinajero, <br />Sarmiento (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSTAIN: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Martinez (1) <br />REPORTS <br />65A. APPROVE YOUTH COMMISSION BYLAWS AND PROVIDE POLICY <br />DIRECTION ON AGE REQUIREMENT OF REGULAR MEMBERS AND <br />ELIGIBILITY OF COLLEGE STUDENTS RELOCATED OUTSIDE OF <br />CITY LIMITS {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 5, 11 - Clerk of the Council Office <br />and Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br />Council discussion ensued. Unanimously agreed to maintain age <br />requirement for Regular members and not increase to 24 years of age as <br />recommended by the Youth Commission. Also, although teleconferencing <br />is acceptable for some meetings, not conducive for long term, important to <br />attend events locally. <br />MOTION; <br />1. Approve the bylaws of the Youth Commission as proposed by the <br />Youth Commission members. <br />2. Provide policy direction, on following issues: <br />a. Should the age requirement of Regular Members be increased <br />to 16-24 years of age? No. Maintain age requirement of <br />Regular Members status quo of 16-20 years of age. <br />b. Should Youth Commission members relocated outside of City <br />limits to attend college/university be able to continue serving <br />on the Commission?
