FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT <br />SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND <br />ILLUMINATION FOUNDATION <br />(24 CFR Parts 91 and 576) <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT AGREEMENT is <br />entered into this 15TH day of December, 2015, by and between City of Santa Ana, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of <br />California ( "City") and ILLUMINATION FOUNDATION, a California nonprofit organization <br />( "SUBRECIPIENT "), <br />RECITALS <br />A. On July 1, 2015, the City entered into an Emergency Solutions Grant Agreement #A- 2015 -060- <br />03 with Illumination Foundation to provide Emergency Funds from the United States <br />Department of Housing and urban Development (HUD) to be used in the operation of an <br />emergency solution program for the homeless or at risk of homelessness of the City of Santa <br />Ana ( "said Agreement). <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to amend to <br />increase funds to the foundation, which need to be spent by .Tune 30, 2016. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows; <br />Paragraph 5, shall be amended to increase funding by $25,786.34 for Rapid Re- Housing <br />activities for the Civic Center homeless individuals and families, for a total sutra not to <br />exceed $89,536.34. <br />2.
