FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT <br />SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND <br />MERCY HOUSE LIVING CENTERS <br />(24 CFR Parts 91 and 576) <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT AGREEMENT is <br />entered into this 15TH day of December, 2015, by and between City of Santa Ana, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of <br />California ( "City's and MERCY HOUSE LIVING CENTERS, a California nonprofit organization <br />( "SUBRECIPIENT "). <br />RECITALS <br />A. On July 1, 2015, the City entered into an Emergency Solutions Grant Agreement #A- 2015 -060- <br />05 with Mercy House Living Centers to provide Emergency Funds fxom the United States <br />Department of Housing and urban Development (HUD) to be used in the operation of an <br />emergency solution program for the homeless or at risk of homelessness of the City of Santa <br />Ana ( "said Agreement "). <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to amend to <br />increase funds to the foundation, which need to be spent by June 30, 2016 <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section III, Disbursement and Funds, shall be amended to increase funding by $25,786.33 <br />for Rapid Re- Housing activities for the Civic Center homeless individuals and families, for a <br />total sum not to exceed $113,286.33. <br />2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain <br />unchanged and in full force and effect. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />Way, <br />
