<br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2016-066 - Approve an appropriation <br />adjustment for FY 15-16 and FY 16-17 to recognize $3,500,000 from recognized prior year <br />fund balance and appropriating $3,500,000 into the Downtown Enhancements expense <br />account. <br /> <br /> <br />PROJECTS/CHANGE ORDERS <br /> <br />23A. TERMINATE CONTRACT FOR SEVENTEENTH STREET WATER MAIN <br />IMPROVEMENTS, BRISTOL TO BROADWAY (PROJECT 11-6416) {STRATEGIC <br />PLAN NO. 6, 1B} - Public Works Agency <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.AGMT - Authorize the Executive Director of Public Works to terminate for <br />convenience the contract extended to Paulus Engineering for construction of the <br />Seventeenth Street Water Main, originally awarded in the amount not to exceed <br />of $1,832,571, but now closing the contract for a $1,287,167.64 total. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Approve Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $178,184.15 which is a contract <br />increase to pay for remaining inventory of water main material. <br /> <br /> <br />3.Approve Change Order No. 3 which is a final closeout credit, reducing the <br />contract by $818,547. <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENTS <br /> <br />25A. AMENDMENT TO SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENTS FOR EMERGENCY <br />SERVICES GRANT {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 5, 6} - Community Development Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br />1. AGMT - Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />amendment to the Emergency Solutions Grant Subrecipient Agreement with <br />Illumination Foundation to increase the compensation by $25,786.34 to provide <br />housing assistance for Civic Center homeless individuals and families in a total <br />amount not to exceed $89,536.34 for the period of July 1, 2015 through June 30, <br />2016, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />2. AGMT - Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />amendment to the Emergency Solutions Grant Subrecipient Agreement with <br />Mercy House Living Centers to increase the compensation by $25,786.33 to <br />provide housing assistance for Civic Center homeless individuals and families in <br />a total amount not to exceed $113,286.33 for the period of July 1, 2015 through <br />June 30, 2016, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager <br />and City Attorney. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 7 DECEMBER 15, 2015 <br /> <br /> <br />
