EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR SANTA ANA RESIDENTS <br /> <br />Owner shall solicit and advertise employment opportunities to Santa Ana residents. SAHA shall inform the <br />Owner of areas to publicize recruitment opportunities, such as work centers and community centers. Such <br />effort and procedure will be provided to SAHA for review. <br /> <br />v. COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS <br /> <br />1. Owner shall perform all requirements under this contract in strict observance of and in compliance with all <br />applicable environmental, traffic, safety and any other laws, regulations, ordinances, codes and any other <br />legislative or statutory requirements. <br /> <br />2. Owner warrants that the performance of services under this contract shall be compliant with the current <br />requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and as it may be amended or updated <br />throughout the term of this contract. <br /> <br />vi. ASSIGNMENT <br /> <br />Inasmuch as the Agreement is intended to secure the specialized services of Owner, Owner may not assign, <br />transfer, delegate or subcontract any interest herein without the prior written consent of SAHA and any such <br />assignment, transfer; delegation or subcontract without SAHA’s prior written consent shall be considered null <br />and void. <br /> <br />vii. JURISDICTION – VENUE <br /> <br />This Contract has been executed and delivered in the State of California and the validity, interpretation, <br />performance and enforcement of any of the clauses of this Contract shall be determined and governed by the <br />laws of the State of California. Both parties further agree that Orange County, California, shall be the venue for <br />any action or proceeding that may be brought or arise out of, in connection with or by reason of this Contract. <br /> <br />viii. FINES <br /> <br />The Owner shall be liable for all violation fines levied against the Housing Authority by State or Federal Agencies <br />and the Courts such as, but not limited to, oil or fluid leaks. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />4-16
