APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2016 -066 - Approve an <br />appropriation adjustment for FY 15 -16 and FY 16 -17 to recognize <br />$3,500,000 from recognized prior year fund balance and appropriating <br />$3,500,000 into the Downtown Enhancements expense account. <br />"Councilmember Martinez voted "No" on Agenda Item 20C. <br />PROJECTS /CHANGE ORDERS <br />23A. TERMINATE CONTRACT FOR SEVENTEENTH STREET WATER MAIN <br />IMPROVEMENTS, BRISTOL TO BROADWAY (PROJECT 11 -6416) <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1 B) - Public Works Agency <br />MOTION: <br />1. Authorize the Executive Director of Public Works to terminate for <br />convenience the contract extended to Paulus Engineering for <br />construction of the Seventeenth Street Water Main, originally <br />awarded in the amount not to exceed of $1,832,571, but now <br />closing the contract for a $1,287,167.64 total. <br />2. Approve Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $178,184.15 which <br />is a contract increase to pay for remaining inventory of water <br />main material. <br />3. Approve Change Order No. 3 which is a final closeout credit, <br />reducing the contract by $818,547. <br />AGREEMENTS <br />25A. AMENDMENT TO SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENTS FOR EMERGENCY <br />SERVICES GRANT (STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 5, 6) - Community <br />Development Agency <br />MOTION: <br />1. AGMT NO. 2015 -286 - Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the <br />Council to execute an amendment to the Emergency Solutions <br />Grant Subrecipient Agreement with Illumination Foundation to <br />increase the compensation by $25,786.34 to provide housing <br />assistance for Civic Center homeless individuals and families in a <br />total amount not to exceed $89,536.34 for the period of July 1, <br />2015 through June 30, 2016, subject to non - substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 6 DECEMBER 15, 2015 <br />1 0A -6 <br />
