7. Legal Descriptions and Plats: Included are legal descriptions and plats for Temporary Construction Easements <br />and contractor access easement for each parcel (13 separate properties included). The temporary construction <br />easement plats and legal descriptions will be utilized by the City for work on the private properties. Our work does <br />not include property owner coordination, negotiation nor acquisition services. Included in this item is the preparation <br />of individual property owner (8 Y" x 12" size) exhibits that show the work to be performed on the private property <br />and the impact to their property, such as fence removals, reconstruction of side yard fencing, storage sheds, shade <br />structures, etc. <br />8. Specifications: RICK will prepare technical specifications and special provisions as required to supplement the <br />2012 Edition of the Green Book. It is assumed that the City of Santa Ana will provide a boiler plate specification <br />package as a guideline. The specifications will set forth the method of installation and quality standards for <br />materials and workmanship for the finished product. A Schedule of Bid Items will be prepared consistent with <br />plans. <br />9. Engineer's Estimate: An Engineer's Estimate will be prepared. The unit prices will be based on unit contractor <br />prices provided by the City for recent projects, the latest Caltrans Construction Cost Data for projects of similar <br />magnitude, and /or other in -house sources we have on record from recent projects. <br />10. As -Built Plans: As builts will be prepared in the microstation V8 files based on provided contractor mark -ups, <br />known to the engineer of record, RFI's, and construction changes.
