December 15, 2014 Bowers Museum, SSA Project 414048 <br />SALLY SWANSON <br />A G M_"c5` iNll <br />A review of the site and public access interior areas of the building was performed on July 29, 2014. <br />The review has been prepared as a request received by the Consultant from the City of Santa Ana for <br />the property commonly known as: <br />BOWERS MUSEUM <br />2002 N. Main Street <br />Santa Ana, California <br />At the time of the review, the property was found to generally be in generally good compliance <br />standing summarily however, those elements reviewed and found to be in non - compliant condition <br />concerned the areas of improvement as follows: <br />➢ Building Blocks <br />➢ Accessible Routes of Travel <br />➢ General Site Elements <br />➢ Plumbing Elements and Facilities <br />➢ Communication Elements <br />➢ Special Rooms, Spaces, and Elements <br />➢ Built -In Elements <br />A copy of the mandated CASp Notification has been provided and is attached to this report as an <br />exhibit. Since non - compliant conditions were identified during the review, the site and improvements <br />cannot be designated as "CASp Inspected." Until any and all discovered non - compliant conditions <br />are corrected, determinations are provided by the appropriate Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ - i.e. <br />the Department of Justice, Building Official, or other) regarding any equivalent facilitation, hardship or <br />similar, and a CASp re- inspection is performed to verify completion and compliance of said <br />corrections, the project status is established and will remain as "CASp Determination Pending." <br />December 15, 2014 SSA Project #14048 Page 2 of 28 <br />
