Of Personnel Services will so notify the employee and the Department Head in <br />writing and will provide the employee aid Department Head with an approximate <br />start date for the study. <br />C, All determinations of the Department Head and the Executive Director. of <br />Personnel Services are final. <br />D. All studies and study findings will require City Manager approval befbre <br />proceeding. <br />L. All recommendations resulting from study findings require the approval of the <br />City Council and will be implemented in accordance to the City's Civil Service <br />rules, <br />4.14 Class and Com emation Stuff The City will conduct a class and compensation study <br />using benclimarlc classifications in the bargaining unit. The parties will forum a Joint <br />Labor. Management Team to develop the RFP, serve on the RFP Committee to select the <br />consultant /contractor, meet to oversec/address the details /issues of the study and review <br />the final study, The parties intend that the study will be, completed by January 2017. The <br />parties will then meet and confer over the implementation of the study findings. The <br />study will include a review of job families and career ladders. Additionally, in the event <br />that the parties agree that any job class should be reduced in salary, the effected <br />incumbents will have their salaries frozen [Y- Rating]. <br />16 <br />25A -20 <br />
