Mario Turner, requested approval of project in concept. <br />City Attorney Carvalho, noted that if matter as proposed by the Planning <br />Commission would allow staff to work with developer in amending the <br />development agreement. <br />Community Development Agency Director Reenders, stated that when project <br />before the City Council for consideration will include subsidy layer report and <br />analysis. <br />City Attorney Carvalho, summarized option in the agenda report for <br />consideration. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Sarmiento, indicated that it was important to work out the timing, <br />funding; project is not unprecedented; asked City Manage to lead efforts. <br />William Devyn, Attorney for the Developer, indicated that they are opposed to <br />amending the development agreement (with Dyer 18 LLC), instead would like to <br />work with City to come up with proposal to direct funds and return to City <br />Council for approval is acceptable. Suggested motion for City Council <br />consideration. <br />City Manager Cavazos, noted that matter would be brought back to City Council <br />for consideration. <br />SUBSTITUTE MOTION <br />3.
