RESOLUTION NO. 2016 -010 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SANTA ANA CITY COUNCIL <br />AFFIRMING THE AWARD OF A CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br />PERFORMANCE BONUS. <br />WHEREAS, City of Santa Ana( "City`') and Maria Huizar ( "Clerk of the Council ") <br />entered into that certain Employment Agreement dated July 20, 2009 (hereinafter <br />"Employment Agreement "), whereby Employee agreed to serve as the Clerk of the Council <br />of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Employment Agreement provides that the City Council shall <br />conduct an annual performance evaluation of the Clerk of the Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducted such evaluation and awarded a <br />performance bonus of 5% on December 1, 2015 by a vote of 7:0. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Santa Ana City Council does <br />hereby resolve as follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council affirms the performance bonus of 5% awarded to <br />the Clerk of the Council as provided for in the Employment Agreement. <br />Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br />Section 3. The Mayor shall sign this Resolution, and the City Clerk shall attest <br />and certify to the passage and adoption thereof. <br />ADOPTED this 2nd day of February, 2016. <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Sonia R.
