REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE; <br />MARCH 1, 2016 <br />CLERIC OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />TITLE: APPROVED <br />CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL <br />❑ As Recommended <br />PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORT <br />❑ As Amended <br />❑ Ordinance on Reading <br />REVIEW FOR FY 2014.15 <br />❑ Ordinance on 2 "u Reading <br />2 <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NO, 4,1} <br />❑ Implementing Resolution <br />❑ Set Public Hearing For <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />CITY MANAGEFV <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />G <br />On September 15, 2015, the City Council authorized the submittal of fiscal year 2014-2015 <br />Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) to U.S, Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development (HUD), The CAPER reports on the City's success In achieving <br />the five -year objectives of the Consolidated Five Year Plan, a comprehensive planning and <br />application document that covers the three entitlement grants. These three entitlement grants <br />Include Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and <br />HOME Investment Partnership (HOME'), <br />HUD has reviewed the City's CAPER submittal for fiscal year 2014 -15 and issued a letter <br />reporting that the City's performance has been rated as Good (Exhibit 1). Good is the highest <br />possible rating, All major program requirements appear to be in compliance with regulatory <br />requirements and there were no outstanding Issues raised during their review,. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of these Items assists the City in meeting Goal #4 - Fiscal Sustalnability, Objective #1 <br />(maintain a stable, efficient and transparent financial environment), <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There Is no fiscal Impact associated with this action, <br />19D -1 <br />
