Section 421 of <br />the Charter requires the City Manager to report to the City Council quarterly on the contracts <br />entered into under his authority for informational purposes. The report is required to include the <br />names of contractors and the amounts of each contract. <br />Exhibit A is a listing of all purchase orders and agreements entered into between July 1, 2015 to <br />December 31, 2015, valued at amounts between $500 and $25,000. Unless included under a <br />blanket contract, the City as a general rule does not purchase goods or services valued at under <br />$500 through either a purchase order or an agreement. Purchase orders and service <br />agreements valued at greater than $25,000 require approval by City Council. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's effort to meet Goal #4 City Financial Stability, Objective <br />#1 (maintain a stable, efficient and transparent financial environment). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Exhibit A: Quarterly Report of Contracts <br />19E -1 <br />
