Minutes Page 2 <br />2.0 Possible Joint -Use Agreements <br />2.1 Review Progress Report <br />Mr. Mouet asked if there were any questions on agreements; Dr. Miller stated <br />bid amounts are higher than anticipated; Councilmember Tinajero suggested two <br />additional hitting cages /tunnels with lighting and a cement dugout at Segerstrom's <br />outfield are his priorities to focus on varsity baseball; Dr. Miller stated <br />district staff will investigate cost to get solid estimates for baseball options. <br />hlr. Mouet added that the Santa Ana Public library has issued hundreds of library <br />cards; Mr. Palacio stated district will look into possible library grant. <br />3.0 Follow up Items <br />3.1 Santa Ana High School Tennis Courts <br />The Santa Ana High School tennis court has four of the eleven lights lit; <br />follow -up on Santa Ana High School tennis courts required related to the <br />infrastructure /base foundation. <br />5.0 Future Items for Discussion and Planning <br />Councilmember Reyna requested to have an open dialogue related to providing <br />community members and non- profit organizations the opportunity to use a school <br />facility during non-instruction time, possibly keeping a school site open until 8 <br />or 9 p.m.; shared community center for citizen classes, zumba dance, etc. Dr. <br />Miller stated district can look into possibilities. Councilmember Tinajero <br />proposed an opportunity in providing SAUSD intermediate students with resources, <br />coaches, and speech debate assemblies. Dr. Miller and Councilmember Tinajero will <br />schedule a follow -up meeting. <br />6.0 Next scheduled meeting - Monday, February 8, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. - City of Santa <br />Ana, Room 1600, City Hall Ross Annex. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:33 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />13A -4 <br />
