returning to FEMA the balance of any funds that have been drawn down, but remain <br />unliquidated. <br />After final reports have been reviewed and approved by FEMA, a close -out notice will be <br />completed to close out the grant. The notice will indicate the period of performance as <br />closed, list any remaining funds the recipient has not drawn down that will be <br />deobligated, and address requirements for record retention, and disposition and reporting <br />requirements for any equipment or real property purchased using EMPG grant funding. <br />In addition, any EMPG recipient that issues subgrants to any subrecipients is responsible <br />for closing out those subgrants as described in 2 C.F.R. § 200.343. EMPG recipients must <br />ensure that they complete the closeout of their subgrants in time to submit all necessary <br />documentation and information to FEMA during the closeout of their own grant award. <br />G.
