Adopt a resolution certifying Final Environmental Impact Report No. 2013 -01 and approve the <br />Mitigation Monitoring Program and Statement of Overriding Considerations. <br />2. Adopt an ordinance approving the Amendment to Development Agreement No. 1999 -01 (DA <br />No. 2015 -02) for the Mater Del High School campus expansion project. <br />Request of Applicant <br />Sapetto Real Estate Solutions, on behalf of Mater Del High School, is requesting approval of two <br />entitlements for the proposed expansion to the Mater Del campus. Specifically, the applicant is <br />requesting approval of the certification of an environmental impact report and approval of the <br />second amendment to an existing development agreement to allow the future construction of a <br />three level, 990 -space parking structure and a two -story classroom building. <br />Project Location and Site Descri Rion <br />Mater Del High School is located on a 20.9 -acre, rectangular shaped parcel of land that is <br />situated at the southeast corner of Bristol Street and Edinger Avenue. The property currently <br />contains nine buildings that total approximately 232,645 square feet of area that was first <br />developed in 1950. The site contains several academic buildings, a student activities center, a <br />chapel, an athletic complex, an aquatics building and a maintenance building. In addition, 550 <br />surface parking spaces are located on the site for faculty and student parking, with an additional <br />:225 spaces located within a public parking lot north of the campus on Bristol Street. <br />The site is surrounded by a public parking lot, office and residential development to the north, <br />single - family residential uses to the south and east, and commercial, religious and educational <br />uses to the west (Exhibits 1, 2 and 3). <br />75D -3 <br />
