Ongoing resident <br />services are provided by LifeSTEPS and include <br />resident services coordination and classes that <br />promote resident independence. At CDP’s <br />election, an additional resident services <br />coordinator was hired on the property <br />management side to increase the number of <br />resident functions and improve resident <br />interaction. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Cypress Senior Living --- Glendale, CA <br />Cypress Senior is an 18-unit affordable <br />community in Glendale, CA for seniors aged 62+ <br />and includes a set-aside of 6 units for Veterans. <br />CDP partnered with the Glendale Housing <br />Authority who provided $1,447,523 in HOME <br />funds for the acquisition and rehab in addition to <br />providing a below market permanent loan. Non- <br />profit service providers include the Central Valley <br />Coalition for Affordable Housing, and Integrity <br />Housing at the ownership level. With a third of <br />the residents being Veterans there is ongoing <br />interaction with the case managers of the VASH <br />voucher program, the City of Glendale Housing <br />Authority, Homes for Heroes, and the City of <br />Glendale housing department. <br />Currently CDP is partnering with American <br />Family Housing in Midway City on a 100% <br />permanent supportive housing development to <br />service formerly homeless.
