2.0 SURVEY PROCEDURES <br />Ambient Environmental, Inc. conducted comprehensive Asbestos and LBP survey for the 710 611' <br />Street in Santa Ana, California. All areas of selected apartments interior and exterior were <br />surveyed for Asbestos and LBP. Asbestos - containing building materials or LBP not identified in <br />this report may be present within hidden or concealed areas of the building. <br />Asbestos - containing material identification was performed by entering each functional space, <br />assessing all structural /mechanical components and architectural finishes. The physical <br />conditions, friability, accessibility, activity and damage of suspect ACBM was also assessed and <br />documented. <br />LBP was identified by entering each functional space and assessing all structural /mechanical <br />compounds and architectural finishes. The physical conditions, accessibility, activity and <br />damage of suspect LBP was also assessed and documented. <br />For reporting purposes, space designations were assigned each functional space within the <br />facilities using the pre - existing designation on doors or as indicated on the floor plans. Where <br />neither was available, the space was labeled by the inspector as indicated in the report. The <br />following procedures were performed: <br />1. A visual assessment to identify the location, type and quantity of LBP and friable <br />and non - friable Asbestos building materials. <br />2. Obtain representative bulk samples of from suspect Asbestos- containing <br />materials. <br />3. Obtain representative XRF reading from suspected paints. <br />4. Asbestos samples were analyzed by an independent accredited laboratory for the <br />presence of Asbestos by PLM. <br />5. Present all survey results in a written report including recommendation, <br />locations, quantities, and laboratory results. <br />All findings, recommendations, and analytical data presented in this report are based on the <br />information (assessment and sampling data) obtained by our inspector during the survey. <br />R <br />19F -29 <br />
