Rincon has <br />been conducting LBP and ACBM surveys for the City of Santa Ana since 2006 and <br />currently holds an open services contract with the City of Santa Ana. <br />Scope of Work <br />Task 1 - Lead Based Paint and Asbestos Containing Building Material Surveys <br />Rincon will subcontract with Ambient Environmental, Inc. to complete the LBP and <br />ACBM survey. Ambient Environmental, Inc. employs inspectors that hold current <br />Lead inspector licenses with the State of California Department of Public Health and <br />Asbestos Inspector licenses with the State of California Division of Occupational <br />Safety and Health. <br />The LBP survey will include visually inspecting and obtaining x -ray fluorescent <br />readings of accessible, interior and exterior, painted building materials of the onsite <br />residence. The LBP samples will be collected according to U.S. Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development procedures. <br />The ACBM survey will include inspecting accessible interior and exterior areas of <br />the onsite residence for the presence of ACBM. Bulk samples in accordance with U.S. <br />EPA 560/5 -85 -024 and 40 CFR Part 764 will be collected, and each bulk sample will <br />be analyzed for asbestos by polarized light microscopy. <br />Environmental S c i e n t i s t 9 Fm45e r 5 Engineers <br />
