Many people
from outside of Santa Ana come here because they known that many surrounding cities have passed
ordinances prohibiting their use.
How many more homes being burned down and personal injuries do we have to have in order for
people to finally take this as a serious issue. Is one persons enjoyment from fireworks more important
than a families home that may be lost forever. If you could guarantee me that no fires would be
started, no injuries would occur, or that any animals would not run away in fear I would not have
written this letter. But since you can't, I feel that you must err on the side of caution and ban the use
of fireworks.
Sincerely,
Joachim Ziebart, a Santa Ana tax payer
