Over the last
few years, we have come to enjoy the amazing 4th of July celebration in our neighborhood. We have a
neighborhood parade with home -built floats and neighbors and friends enjoy a day celebrating our freedom with
food, drink, and, as the day winds down into night, safe and legal fireworks.
While the council has been asked to consider the banning of all fireworks, including "Safe and Sane" legal
fireworks, I would ask that you consider the meaning of freedom --after all, we are talking about a holiday that
celebrates the freedoms we have in this country.
