City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza <br />Santa Ana, California 92701 <br />MINUTES <br />Santa Ana Unified School District/ City of Santa Ana Council <br />Joint Policy Meeting <br />February 8, 2016 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:48 p.m. by City of Santa Ana (CITY) City Council Member Sal <br />Tinajero. <br />CITY Council Members present were Sal Tinajero, Roman Reyna and Angelica Amezcua. <br />CITY staff members present were: David Cavazos, City Manager; Gerardo Mouet, PRCSA Executive <br />Director; Frank Arroyo, Senior Management Analyst; Jeannie Jurado, Community Services Manager; <br />Enrique Marban, Community Services Supervisor; Sonia Batres, Community Services Events Supervisor; <br />Alma Flores, Executive Assistant; Jorge Garcia, Sr, Management Assistant, Julie Castro - Cardenas, Senior <br />Management Assistant and Hiram Uribe, Graphic Designer. <br />SAUSD Board Members present were: John Palacio and Cecilia Iglesias. <br />SAUSD staff members present were Dr. Miller, Superintendent of Schools; Dr. Stefanie Phillios, Deoutv <br />Superintendent, Operations; Dr, Haglund, Deputy Superintendent, Educational Services; Mr, Orin <br />Williams, Assistant Superintendent, Facilities and Governmental Relations; Dr. Lopez- Guerra, Director of <br />Community Relations; and Hector Rodriguez, Chief of School Police. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />None <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br />1.0 Approval of Minutes of the November 2, 2015 District /City Minutes <br />Approved with the modification to add comments made by Cecilia Iglesias that were left out. <br />Motion - Amezcua, Second - Reyna, Approved <br />2.0 Partnerships <br />Jeannie Jurado provided an introduction to the topic.
