Santa Ana Delhi Diversion Project .3- February 25, 2016 <br />sudden releases of these flows from the diversion structure would reduce the <br />possibility of adverse impacts. <br />The MND stated that a Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality. Standards <br />Certification (401 Certification) would likely be issued by the Regional Board for this <br />Project. The United States Army Corps of Engineers has consistently considered the <br />Santa, Ana Delhi Channel Waters of the United States, which will require the Project <br />applicant to request and obtain a 401 certification prior to constructing this Project. The <br />Project proponents must consider appropriate measures and Best Management <br />Practices (BMPs) to incorporate into the Project to meet water quality standards.
