INMATE TRANSPORTATION AND <br />HOSPITAL GUARD SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 19th day of April, 2016 by and between <br />In- Custody Transportation, Inc. (hereinafter "Contractor "), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the <br />State of California (hereinafter "City "). <br />RECITALS <br />1. The City desires to retain a Contractor having special skill and knowledge in the field of <br />inmate transportation and hospital guard services. <br />2. City posted a Request for Proposals for Inmate Transportation Services and Hospital <br />Guard Services (RFP #15 -111). All proposals submitted in response to the RFP <br />were evaluated by the City and Contractor was selected for the Agreement. <br />3. Contractor represents that Contractor is able and willing to provide such services to the <br />City and is licensed by the State of California to provide inmate transportation and <br />hospital guard services. <br />4. In undertaking the performance of this Agreement, Contractor represents that it is <br />knowledgeable in its field and that any services performed by Contractor under this <br />Agreement will be performed in compliance with such standards as may reasonably be <br />expected from a professional inmate transportation and hospital guard service firm. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows: <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />A. TERM <br />The term of this contract shall commence on May 1, 2016 and terminate April 20, <br />2019, unless earlier terminated as set forth in Section H, below. <br />A copy of the Scope of Services is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated <br />herein by reference. <br />GIB ++ rtZl�fl1�.F��iit[�I�l <br />City agrees to pay and contractor agrees to accept as total payment for <br />its services, the rates and charges set forth in contractor's proposal, <br />attached hereto as Exhibit B and incorporated by reference.
