Conditional Use Permit No. 2016 -06 <br />Variance No. 2016 -01 <br />March 28, 2016 <br />Page 4 <br />Strategic Plan Alignment <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal No. 3 Economic Development, Objective <br />No. 2 (create new opportunities for business /job growth and encourage private development through <br />new General Plan and Zoning Ordinance policies). <br />Conclusion <br />The rehabilitation of an existing building and site for the Central Baptist Church will be consistent <br />with several provisions of the General Plan. Further, it will allow the estasblishment of a new <br />church facility on art underutilized parcel of land.
