UUNET was
rated highest on these criteria. In October 4 1999, the City Council
approved a one-year contract with three one-year renewals to UUNET
Technologies, Inc. for Internet Service.
UUNET has provided quality service in accordance with all provisions of
its agreement with the City. Especially important to City operations has
been the much improved circuit reliability over the previous service
provider. Staff recommends that the first one-year renewal for Internet
Service from UUNET Technologies, Inc. be approved.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the internal service fund, Citywide Information
Service Strategic Plan, Other Contractual Services account (no. 79-179-
6291 work order 33025).
Rod Coloma
Executive Director
Finance & Management Services Agency
Page 141 2 5. i .
