A Kt� <br />Implementation Assistance I County of Orange <br />(Ongoing) <br />Michael Baker is assisting the County with permit <br />renewal, ongoing implementation, and development <br />of the Orange County Municipal NPDES Storm <br />Water Program by providing support to the county <br />and meeting key primaryobjectives, including <br />continued compliance under the Santa Ana Region and San Diego Region <br />permits. Michael Baker has provided support, as necessary, during the permit <br />renewal process implementing the requirements of the Fourth Term permits <br />through revision of existing programs, and development of new <br />programs/materials to ensure compliance. <br />Highlights: <br />♦ NDPES Permit <br />Implementation <br />Assistance <br />♦ System Prioritization <br />♦ BMP Retrofit <br />♦ Watershed Analysis <br />♦ GIS Modeling <br />C "'i5i� g <br />Rehr <br />(7 4 z 5= <br />Water Quality Management Plan Assistance I County of Orange (Ongoing) <br />Highlights: <br />Michael Baker is assisting the County with WQMP related services including <br />♦ NDPES Permit <br />preparation of regulatory plans, technical guidance documents and annual <br />Implementations <br />♦ System Prioritization <br />reports for Low Impact Development (LID) and hydromodification <br />♦ BMP Retrofit <br />implementation; assessment of economic impacts of LID and <br />hydromodification implementation, development of case studies and training <br />as t, of i <br />programs for cities and the development industry; providing support to <br />Rrc <br />answer city and development industry questions; development of regional <br />55=0 <br />tools (e.g. mapping and modeling) to simplify preparation of project WQMPs; <br />conducting outreach and coordination with various planning, engineering and <br />development industry groups; and conducting assessments of LID and hydromodification <br />effectiveness. Recent tasks have included providing WQMP and hydromodification help desk support, <br />performing WQMP inspections, providing pre -wet season construction site inspection training, updates <br />of the South Orange County Hydromodification Management Plan, and development of a non -priority <br />project technical memorandum to provide a revised process for non -priority projects. <br />Southgate Neighborhood Storm Drainage and Green Street Improvements Highlights: <br />I City of Palo Alto (2014) ♦ Drainage Analysis <br />Michael Baker <br />Michael Baker's services included <br />♦ oca on <br />identification and evaluation of optimal BMP <br />Evaluation <br />locations; development of final plans, <br />♦ Use of Integrated <br />specifications, and cost estimates for green <br />Watershed <br />street elements; and public involvement. The <br />Assessment Tool for <br />purpose of the project was to address the <br />Restoration (iWATR) <br />storm drainage deficiencies within the <br />yQrtofP'185td <br />Southgate neighborhood, improve�ge5ie'els) <br />stormwater quality through LID techniques,�15393 <br />and reduce potable water usage.
