His �` ergtid sx x <br />experience includes developing storm water management <br />plans, water quality management plans, municipal stormwater <br />permit renewal, and stormwater training. Mr. Apt has n�tj <br />experience working with numerous regulatory agencies _ . <br />Including the State Water Resources Control Board, several <br />Regional Water Quality Control Boards, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the California Coastal <br />Commission, and many others. <br />Relevant Experience Includes: <br />Sustainable Water Master Plan, Santa Monica, California. City of Santa Monica. Project <br />Manager. Responsible for project management. Michael Baker assisted the city with the rainwater, <br />gray water, and stormwater sections of the city's sustainable water master plan. Michael Baker's <br />services included geographic information system (GIS) rainfall analysis and gray water demand <br />analysis, identification of potential stormwater capture locations at a local and regional level, and <br />evaluation of the feasibility of stormwater reuse. <br />Orange County BMP Retrofit Opportunities Study, Orange County, California, County of <br />Orange, Project Manager. Responsible for developing a study to identify regional structural best <br />management practice (BMP) retrofitting opportunities to improve water quality in the nine major <br />watersheds of Orange County on behalf of the Orange County Municipal Storm Water <br />Program. Michael Baker initiated a study in 2003 to identify potential opportunities within the existing <br />storm drain infrastructure for configuring or reconfiguring drainage system segments to improve water <br />quality and maintain or attain designated beneficial uses. The primary objective of the study was to <br />develop a logical approach for the identification and prioritization of potential BMP retrofitting. <br />Storm Water Permit Implementation Assistance, Orange County, California. County of <br />Orange. Project Manager. Responsible for assisting with permit renewal, ongoing implementation, <br />and development of the Orange County Municipal NPDES Storm Water Program by providing support <br />to the County and meeting key primary objectives including: continued compliance under the Third <br />Term permits; providing support, as necessary, during the permit renewal process and transition to <br />the Fourth Term permits; and implementing the requirements of the Fourth Term permits through <br />revision of existing programs and development of new programs / materials as needed to ensure <br />compliance. This project also included revising the County's training program and providing training <br />for all of the storm water program areas. Michael Baker assisted with permit renewal, ongoing <br />implementation, and development of the Orange County Municipal NPDES Storm Water Program by <br />providing support to the county and meeting key primary objectives, including continued compliance <br />under the Third Term permits.
